Martyn Corfield founded Atalanta Motors in 2011 to revive the dormant Atalanta from the 1930s, whose manufacturing ceased owing to the war after just 21 vehicles were built.

Atlanta Motors debuted a different vehicle at the 2014 Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, but no production versions have yet been revealed. The company had previously announced the resuscitation of the marque in 2012 with the retro-designed Sports Tourer. There can only be 10 automobiles produced each year.

Over an ash wood chassis, the new Atalanta is constructed of hand-beaten aluminum panels, with an estimated 90% of the components being created and engineered internally. The Atalanta is equipped with disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 214 horsepower.
